Toyota Invites You to be an FT-86 World Reporter

The "FT-86 World Report" is a new interactive website that lets users submit images of the upcoming FT-86 rear-wheel drive coupe roaming the open road. It's developed jointly by Toyota, Scion and Subaru There's just one thing... The FT-86, which is set to debut with its sibling models, the FR-S and BRZ, at the Tokyo Motor Show, obviously isn't "roaming" the streets yet, begging the question: how can drivers participate in the "FT-86 World Report?"

Toyota isn't asking you to somehow get your hands on the rear-wheel drive coupe ahead of time, nor are they suggesting you try. Rather, they're allowing fans around the world to download an iPhone app, which will allow them to take a picture with the FT-86 digitally imposed, and then upload it to the website.

Upon loading the "FT-86 World Report" (http://www.ft-86worldreport.com/) onto their iPhone, visitors will be asked to select their region, so that they can see if anyone has posted images of the FT-86 locally. From there, visitors can view all of the reports in one streaming compilation video. After playing around with the app briefly, Fletcher Jones Toyota, serving the greater Las Vegas, NV area, can honestly say that the app isn't only a great way to engage fans, but also a fun way to waste a few minutes here and there by finding new and interesting areas to capture the FT-86 driving.

Want more Toyota news? Make sure to stay tuned, as Fletcher Jones Toyota, located at 3255 E Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV, is dedicated to keeping you informed!
